This is really good news for Avianca. I'm not sure how Brazilian people will take this change, but I guess it should also be exciting for them, because of company's expansion and new planes.

My best wishes for you on your trainning sessions here, and I will be expecting pictures of those first flights in that new baby!

By the way, we'd be more than glad to keep getting news from Brazil, now that our countries have so much in common with Efromovich and Avianca!

Well, what I can say about?
I personally believe this picture has been edited, therefore it might not a genuine picture. There are few things that are pretty doubtful for me.
The first one is the wide of the brazilian flag. If you look at a picture of an Airbus 319 of Avianca you'll find out that the wide of the colombian flag on the fuselage is slightly larger than the brazilian one in this picture.
Second. I know the Airbus 319 is made in Germany, but why the german flag. I couldn't even find any picture of any Avianca with a german flag on its tail. Also the position.

That size difference is due to perspective (angle the picture was taken). You can't compare the size of the flag on a picture taken from the side with this one taken kinda diagonal.

And, as Juancho stated, if you take a look at both pictures, considering the angle fact, you can see they are the same wide.

On the other hand, this has been confirmed by some of the pilots who will be flying that very first plane... so, I would say it's an almost 100% sure thing.

The Colombian flag is wider, you can use the windshield frame as a reference and you can see the Colombian flag goes further forward than the Brazilian one. Not that this means the picture is fake, as you mention there are good sources that confirm it.

You're right Xplan, anyway the difference is not that big. I could bet there are some slight differences even for planes in the same fleet.

este año ocanaiar, futura avianca brasil debe recibir 3 A319...............con posibilidades de mas segun los slots y negociaciones disponibles
